A word from the organizers:
"Our names are Linda Arbanová & Marie Puttnerová. We have been close friends for many years. We have carried out a number of musical/visual projects, and at the end of last year, we got together with the idea of creating something together again. We are both celebrating significant anniversaries this year (45 and 40 years), so we see this as the perfect opportunity to treat ourselves to a concert happening with friends. Marie will sing and Linda will project.

And since we're putting on a concert, it would be great to use it for a good cause. The final inspiration to organize a charity birthday concert for Ukraine came from listening to a pre-Christmas interview with Ivan Trojan and Erik Tabery about helping doctors who are saving the lives of Ukrainian civilians and soldiers on the front lines. For some time now, both of us have shared an urgent need to do something beyond our (we would say nice) ordinary lives.

We approached the artist's friends with the idea, and without even discussing the issue of fees, they all immediately waived their claims, which greatly strengthened our decision and deepened our sense of purpose in organizing such a gathering.

Palác Akropolis responded in the same way, providing us with a hall and equipment without charging us for the costs of its operation.

In cooperation with Post Bellum, we can therefore send all proceeds to help the doctors of the 1st Medical Battalion of the Ukrainian Army (https://www.darujme.cz/projekt/1205934).

If we manage to sell out the Akropolis Palace in Žižkov, the proceeds will be enough to purchase an ambulance and perhaps even additional medical supplies.

The following artists have confirmed their participation in the joint event: Markéta Foukalová – singer and songwriter & Martin Brunner, Jakub König – singer-songwriter and artist and part of his ensemble Hvězdy (Štěpán Růžička), together with bassist Jakub Vejnar, Mirek Kemel with his band (Vlastimil Konopiský, Tomáš Görtler, Martin Novák, Petr Mikeš, Pepa Štěpánek, Petr Ostrouchov) and Vladimír Javorský, Marie Puttnerová with her band (Martin Brunner, Petr Uvira, Martin Novák), and Ivan Trojan will also come to sing. Linda Arbanová will accompany the evening with video projections.
